The Administrative Associate is a key member of Humanity United’s Public Policy & Government Relations (PPGR) team and Humanity United Action, our sister organization that advocates for legislative policies to advance solutions for global problems long considered intractable like human trafficking, mass atrocities, and violent conflict. The Administrative Associate will report to the Managing Director of Public Policy & Government Relations in the Washington, D.C. office.
The Administrative Associate functions mainly as a floating team member and is responsible for providing real time administrative support across various activities and priority projects.
This is a temporary position anticipated to be in place until December 2018.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide general administrative support to PPGR team, to include calendaring, filing, and travel logistics
Ensure expense reports are completed in timely manner
Support lobbying administrative tasks, including tracking and submitting lobbying time, and ensure HUA team is current on all TOG lobbying policies
Coordinate both small- and large-scale meetings, either in person or using conference technology, handling challenges such as arranging local and international participation across multiple time zones.
Provide event coordination and support for internal and external events
